Kesselring‘s personal guest book, most likely from his headquarters at Frascati/Italy. Green leather binding, faded, the fly-leaf with Kesselring‘s ex-libris. Entries and signatures starting on October 5, 1943, ending on March 31, 1944. Approx. 110 double-pages, almost each of which with an entry and a signature of Kesselring and Karl-Heinz Neubauer, the liaison-officer at the command post of the OB South/Kesselring). Highly interesting personal notes throughout; visits of high-ranking Wehrmacht officers, commanders, SS-echelon, amongst which the signatures of SS-Standartenfuhrer Eugen Dollmann, SS-General Wolff, Oberst Jandl (head of the Wehrmacht‘s liaison-office with the Duce), Generalleutnant Hans-Georg Hildebrandt (Commander of the liaison-groub San Marco), Walter Melzer (Generalmajor OKW), Walter Fries (Commander of the 29th Panzer-Grenadeer Division, carrier of the oak-leaves), Lotte Becker (Special envoy of the Reichsfrauenführerin) and many others.
