Description

A delicate piece made by Hermann Goring‘s favourite jeweler Professor Herbert Zeitner. A three-dimensional Luftwaffe eagle is attached to the cover with a  little nut. The inside guilded with an engraved Christmas dedication ("Hermann Göring - Weihnachten 1938"). The feet in the shape of acorns. The hallmark "835" a master‘s mark and the name "Zeitner" can be found on the side. Dimensions 90,5 x 144 x 50 mm, weight 244 g.

The auction includes 608 lots and starts on Friday, Oct. 23, 2020 at 10 am (CET). Lot no. 2001 - 2608. The pre-sale viewing will take place from Oct. 18 - 21 Oct., 2020 from 2 to 6 pm (CET). However, the number of participants for both auction and viewing is limited due to Covid-19 restrictions and requires an appointment. Bring your favourite breathing mask!
