Description

Removable white ribbed pattern cloth top, gold metal eagle with single pin attached at center (two holes in cap top indicate previous eagle application). Cap body with cloth-covered front stiffener, black leather chinstrap secured by gold buttons, cloth covered visor obverse with finely embroidered single row of gold celleon oakleaves. Black mohair cap band with gold celleon wreath applied at center. Cream rayon lining, celluloid trapezoid intact with manufacturer mark “Erel” in gold, stitched repair to lining at top. Tan leather sweatband with repaired section at back. Clean white top with no visible stains, lining soiled and stained. Size circa 61cm.
