Description

Maker Carl Eickhorn, Solingen, polished steel blade, obverse with etched motto, reverse with maker's logo and “In herzlicher Kameradschaft, H. Himmler” etching. Nickel-silver plated fittings, the underside of the crossguard marked “0”. Black wooden grip with nickel-silver eagle insert and enamelled SS roundel, minor chip on obverse upper left corner. Steel scabbard with black finish, worn, nickel plated fittings. Black leather hanger with signs of wear. Length circa 34.5 cm.
