Description

Silver SS honor ring custom-made by the jeweler Gahr in Munich, soldered underneath the separately applied death’s head, the inside surface with engraved dedication "S.lb. Mayrhofer 30.6.34 H. Himmler". Weight 10.0 g, inside diameter 21 mm. Well worn.
Dr. August Mayrhofer (sometimes written MAYERHOFER), born 09.03.1900, party no. 917506, SS no. 41570. Promotions: Untersturmführer 09.11.32, Obersturmführer 09.11.33, Hauptsturmführer 09.11.36. Duty stations: 1935 - 68. Standarte, 1936 - San. Abt. XXXII, 1937 - San. Abt. XXXII, 1938 - San. Abt. I., 1944 no longer listed (deceased or resigned).
