Description

Mischtechnik auf Hartfaser mit Darstellung des Ehrenmals auf der Feldherrnhalle, im Hintergrund die Theatinerkirche. Links unten sign. "O.Hederich - München 35". Im bestoßenen Rahmen, Gesamtmaße 84 x 62 cm.
Dazu ein Schreiben der Reichskulturkammer und der Katalog der Großen Deutschen Kunstausstellung von 1938, in dem das Gemälde mit der Ausstellungsnummer 329 auf Seite 49 gelistet ist. Laut GdK-Research wurde das Bild von Adolf Hitler für 800,- Reichsmark gekauft.
Otto Hederich (1876 - 1950), Studium in München, später dort als Kunstmaler in der Türkenstraße 31 tätig, bekannt für Postkarten, Wand- und Ölgemälde. Seine Werke wurden u.a. im Deutschen Museum in München sowie im Haus der Deutschen Kunst ausgestellt.

The auction includes 608 lots and starts on Friday, Oct. 23, 2020 at 10 am (CET). Lot no. 2001 - 2608. The pre-sale viewing will take place from Oct. 18 - 21 Oct., 2020 from 2 to 6 pm (CET). However, the number of participants for both auction and viewing is limited due to Covid-19 restrictions and requires an appointment. Bring your favourite breathing mask!
