Description
Cal. .50(BlackPowder), SN. ohne, nearly bright bore, detachable barrels of browned ribbon Damascus steel. Length 74 cm. The barrel rib marked "EUST: SICK in GÜNZBURG." in gold letters. The lower end of the barrel inlaid in silver, engraved with floral motifs and surrounded by a gold band at the breech and muzzle. Butterfly rear sight with thin beam front sight. Hammer-fired action with springs. Side plates decorated all-over with raised arabesques engravings and gold animal inlays. Hammers also engraved and with additional standing hunters. Disc decorated with a mythological figure (Hercules with lion pelt and club). Double trigger, the front one with single set trigger. Finely carved trigger guard with snail terminal. Dark, richly carved walnut stock with Bavarian cheek piece. On the right side also a profusely and intricately engraved patch box with hunter and hound. The compartment holding a spare nipple. Curvy iron butt plate. Ramrod with horn tip.
