Description
Blued, octagonal barrels with twelve-groove rifled bores in 12 mm calibre. The signature "Brier à Paris" engraved on the tops, the serial number "6474" stamped below each of the breeches. The breech plugs and tangs deeply etched with floral ornamentation and the numbers "1" and "2". The underside of the patent breechblocks bearing the mark for Bernard Leopold (see Heer: Der neue Stöckel: mark no. 1233). The locks engraved with fine decorative tendrils. The half stocks in walnut with grooved butts and finely carved decorative tendrils, vacant silver thumb plates. Iron, engraved furniture. Length of each 42 cm. In the associated wooden case. A vacant monogram plaque in brass inset into the lid. Lockable, the key is included. The interior lined in green felt, a gold-embossed manufacturer's mark in the lid. Including a wide range of accessories, comprising powder flask, bullet mould, nipple wrench, screw driver, measuring spoon, loading hammer, patch box, grease tin, copper ramrod and cleaning rod.
