Cal. 8mmPieper, SN. 5156, matching numbers. Bright bore, barrel length 140 mm. Seven shots. ELG proof mark. Inscribed "H. Pieper Bte Liege" on top of the frame bridge, star/"H" on the right side of the barrel housing. Revolver with Nagant gas-seal system. Movable breech face that is pressed against the base of the cartridge by the forward moving hammer, thereby forming a rear end to the cartridge with the sealing cylinder. Original glossy finish with minor wear marks. Case-hardened hammer and trigger. Dark plastic grip panels with circular inscription "H. Pieper / Patent". Lanyard ring.
