Cal. 7,65mmBorchardt, SN. 566, With matching numbers apart from the spring housing. The barrel highly matt, length 190 mm. Crown/BUG proof mark. Screw-mounted rear sight leaf of the early issue, pinned front sight. Receiver marked "WAFFENFABRIK LOEWE BERLIN", on right side of fork housing "SYSTEM BORCHARDT. PATENT.". Complete, original brushed bluing. Traces of heavy use, stained. Small parts strawed and blued, stained. Walnut grip plates. Matching-numbered, nickel-plated magazine, matching-numbered spare magazine and walnut shoulder stock with cheek piece, the narrow edge inscribed "Gesetzlich Geschützt" (tr. "Protected by law"), blued ferrule. Comes with the matching, incomplete, badly damaged wooden case, covered in black lambskin, measuring 38 x 18 x 9 cm. Loose left lid hinge, the leather along the rear of the lid cracked due to opening. The case lined in green felt, containing a spare magazine, dummy magazine (plywood, incomplete), shoulder stock cheek piece (the numbers not matching) and the leather carrying strap. Replacement grips and cleaning rod in brass. Moreover, another detachable stock with a screw-mounted leather pouch, 52 cm long. Also includes an original 16-page instruction manual in English, with foldouts at the back. The serial numbers of the Loewe manufacture go up to approximately 1100. Under the brand name "DWM", a further 2000 C 93 pistols were subsequently made, therefore production ended at around number 3100. C 93 of Loewe production are thus all the more rare and sought-after, especially with the original case.
