Walter Loos (1923 – 2004) erhielt das Ritterkreuz am 20. April 1945. Er diente bei Kriegsende im Geschwaderstab des Jagdgeschwaders 301 ("Wilde Sau"), erzielte 38 Abschüsse, davon 22 anglo-amerikanische viermotorigen Bomber und wurde selbst neunmal abgeschossen.
