Description

Großer Leuchter (Tropfschale fehlt) in schwerer versilberter Ausführung. Elegante Orientalin mit Krug auf dem Kopf. Der ausladende Sockel mit vorderseitigem Widmungsbandeau und gravierter Inschrift "Ehrenpreis gewidmet von - Sr. k.k. Hoheit Erzherzog Otto - St. Pölten 1896". Die Versilberung partiell berieben. Höhe 41 cm, Gewicht 4,74 kg.

Provenance: Aus dem Nachlass des Prinzen Alfons von Bayern (1862 - 1933). An weiß-blauer Kordel anhängendes Etikett "Eigenthum S.K.H. Prinz Alfons" mit maschinenschriftlicher Ergänzung "Ehrenpreis St. Pölten 1896. Vs.".
