Description

Five panel black velvet, 1.5 cm flat silver tress along upper edge completed with 5 cm silver aluminium fringe along bottom edge. Three centre panels with an embroidered silver/aluminium metal thread SS runes, eagle and skull (with addition of various defining embroidery of white, black and off white threads). Embroidered in silver/aluminium metal thread below skull in Gothic font "SS-OA Rhein". Contemporary leather pole sleeve added to back for display purposes. Ca. 161 x 35 cm (without fringe). Minor age. Extremely rare.
