Description
Two stage, slightly offset barrels, over-and-under, octagonal then round smooth bore in 9 mm calibre. The upper barrel embellished with the typical Saxon zigzag pattern, the root dated "1600" and monogrammed "LT" for Lorenz Dressler. Elaborate double lock with external encapsulated wheels. The spring-loaded pan cover with a release button, drop safeties. The walnut full shaft with lavish inlays of delicately engraved and blackened bone. A Saxon coat of arms inlaid in the ball pommel. Inset wooden ramrod with engraved bone tip. Length 67 cm. Unique, completely handmade, fully functional weapon. Modelled on an original pistol produced by Dresden gunsmith Lorenz Dressler in the armoury in Dresden.Condition: I - Questions about the lot?
