Octagonal barrel with seven-groove rifled bore in 15.5 mm calibre. Dovetailed iron sights. Floral embellishment struck at the breech, with the signature "M D in Uttendorf". The lock fitted with an external wheel and release button. The cock engraved with mythical creatures. Lavishly embellished walnut full stock carved with three-dimensional hunting scenes below and opposite the lock. A delicately engraved and blackened, inlaid bone plaque on the cheek appliqué, depicting a lion and a bear. The nosepiece and ramrod holder on the forearm also engraved and blackened. The stock with a bone butt plate, also with a hunting motif. Iron trigger guard, original ramrod with a bone finial and iron-covered tip. Length 100 cm.Condition: II Questions about the lot?
