Description

Sturdy, double-edged blade of flattened diamond section. A sizeable flaw (notch/chip) on one side of the cutting edge, near the point. The fullered ricasso stamped with an illegible smith's mark on both sides "W"(?). The iron swept hilt with distinctly curved quillons. The fluted grip with iron wire winding and Turk's heads. Octagonal pommel with appliquéd, round riveted button. Length 105 cm.

The pre-sale view will take place from April 22 - to April 26 as well as on Friday May 2nd and Monday May 5th in our auction rooms at Bretonischer Ring 3 in 85630 Grasbrunn / Munich from 11 am to 5 pm (CEST).
