Description

Pink-coloured silk body with silver fringe on three sides. Obverse and reverse feature a hand-embroidered black and brown on cream-coloured silk army eagle with beak and talons rendered in raised gold embroidery surrounded by a silver-embroidered oakleaf wreath on an Iron Cross with an appliqué swastika in each corner. Clear vivid colours. Open pole sleeve shows traces of being fastened to the original pole. Minor damage. Dimensions 60 x 75 cm.
