Description

Hard silver-plated teapot from silver service used at Reichsflughafen Ainring, the small airport in Berchtesgaden that was used by Hitler and other high ranking officials who flew into the Obersalzberg. Airport personally chosen by Hitler as a close location for his Berghof visits and was also a favorite of Hermann Göring, who kept a plane at the airport. Bottom stamped "Reichsflughafen Ainring" with a Luftwaffe style eagle above. Additionally stamped "Wellner", "35cl." and "16".
