Ernst Röhm (1887-1934) returned to Germany in November 1930 after spending two years in Bolivia as a military advisor, and was introduced by Hitler as new Chief of Staff of the SA during the SA leadership conference. When Röhm took over the position, the SA consisted of 80,000 members, and he was able to expand this number to 300,000 within a year. In spite of rumours regarding his homosexuality, Ernst Röhm was at the height of his power in 1931/32, and pursued his goal to turn the SA into an independent militia which was to replace the Reichswehr.Condition: I - II Questions about the lot?
