Large-size photo (28.5 x 20 cm) with three-quarter length portrait of Hermann Göring in coat with peaked cap and DLV dagger as head of the Deutsche Luftsport Verband, co-exposed photographer's signature "Binder". The lower edge with hand-signed ink dedication (tr.) "To Minister Dr. Göbbels in old and faithful camaraderie – Hermann Göring – Christmas 1933". Mounted and framed in hand-hammered silver frame with national eagle applied at top. Jeweller's mark "Zeitner" struck on one side, on the obverse Zeitner's signature hallmark "925" within a circle. The corners at back with four silver holders for the back panel with a robust cardboard stand. Dimensions 44.5 x 32.2 cm.Very rare, early gift frame of Göring's favourite jeweller Prof. Herbert Zeitner with a rare picture. In 1933 Göring held several political positions: he was Prime Minister of Prussia, President of the Reichstag, and Minister of Aviation, but he preferred being portrayed in uniform as president of the DLV.Condition: II + Questions about the lot?
