DescriptionA large, Empire mantel clock in fire-gilt bronze with a fully sculptured figurine of Hercules with a club, his forearm leaning on a tree stump. The enamel clock face signed "Rodin à Paris". The octagonal pedestal supported by lion's paw feet, with the Herculean attributes and caduceus ornaments on the bevelled corners.
