Description

Ältere, leicht geschwungene Wootzklinge mit beidseitigem Mittelgrat (leicht flugrostig). Der massive, eingezogene Jadegriff mit reliefierten Schwertlilien durch neun goldgefasste Rubincabochons dekoriert. Kupferbeschlagene Scheide aus Holz, geöst und mit fein gesticktem Brokat bezogen. Länge 42,5 cm.

Provenance: Ehemalige Sammlung des Orientalisten Prof. Jan Willem de Jong (1921 - 2000).
