Description
Three-dimensional figures carved from complete tusks. The two floor-length garments with finely coloured decorative trims and flowing drapery, the lavish bouquets of peonies partly sculpted in openwork. The base of each figure with engraved character mark. One repair on the back of the woman’s hair, minimal flaws in parts. On indented bases of ebonised wood. Overall height of each approximately 74 cm. The CITES document with trade permit is included.Attention: This lot can only be shipped within the European Union.
