Fine black cloth, crimson velvet collar and cuffs. The collar, cuffs and the flaps of the indicated coattail pockets lavishly embellished with silver gilt embroidery (including the Savoy knot). Opulent gold embroidery on the chest, numerous orders loops, gilt buttons with the crowned motto "FERT" of the Royal House of Savoy. Lined in smooth, black silk, stitched at the chest. Marginally damaged in places, slight signs of age and wear. Exceptionally distinguished, high-ranking tailcoat in beautiful condition.Condition: II + Questions about the lot?
