Description

Breite, leicht gekrümmte, geschärfte Rückenklinge (ungemarkt, fleckig) mit zweischneidiger Mittelspitze. Buntmetallbügelgefäß mit durchbrochen gearbeitetem Stichblatt, am Bügel außen eine reliefierte Rankenverzierung, Faustriemenschlitz, gebauchter, gerippter Holzgriff (kleine Fehlstellen an den Enden). Solide, glatte Messingscheide mit tropfenförmigem Trageknopf, die Ansätze von Mund- und Ortblech dezent ausgeschnitten mit S-förmigen Bögen und dreiblättrigen Blüten. Am Griffbügel hängend ein altes Etikett, beschriftet "Sword + Brass Scabbard of Bodyguard of Rao Raja of Shapura". Partiell leicht beschädigt, Altersspuren. Länge 100 cm.
