Description
Hunting hanger (assembled from old parts), the straight, nickel-plated, single-edged blade with fullers. The silver quillons in the shape of dog's heads and a silver-plated guard plate with a boar's head surrounded by oak leaves. Staghorn grip with silver ferrule, the white metal pommel in the shape of a boar's head. Leather-covered wooden scabbard (some craquelures and minor imperfections), the silver fittings with acanthus ornaments and inserted, unassociated by-knife with riveted staghorn grip plate and silver pommel cap with floral decoration. Length 76 cm. In addition, a hunting bandolier in green leather, covered in silver weave with an oak leaf pattern. The heavy, silver-plated fittings with relief depictions of hunting game. The front with a count's coat of arms in half relief, featuring a helmet above a coronet and escutcheon, above which a mounting in the shape of a fully sculptured deer's head with three attached belcher chains. Furthermore, a pair of epaulettes, silvered fields with appliquéd count's coat of arms, scales and crescents with adornment of scrollwork and acanthus, a silver weave fringe, green lining. Complete with the box, an adhesive label of imperial and royal court purveyor Stanisl. Striberny of Vienna on the lid. Also, a silver sword knot, interwoven in green, with a light-coloured leather underlay. Another count's coronet on the acorn wreath.Condition: II Questions about the lot?
