Description

Short thrusting blade of flattened diamond section on a long ricasso with fullers on both sides. The lower end with rectangular opening for the cross bar. Wider at the base of the blade, then again with flattened diamond section. Quillons replaced during the period of Historicism, with helically grooved finials and guard rings on both sides. Stepped grip with leather cover above cord wrap. Round, helically grooved pommel with offset riveted finial. Length 128 cm. Weapon assembled from old parts with replacements from Historicism.
