Narrow, slightly fullered thrusting blade of flattened diamond section, the sturdy, rectangular ricasso with shallow fullers on both sides. The iron cup hilt in fine openwork, decorated with tendrils, fruits and birds. A prominent flange on the upper edge. Extended, spirally fluted quillons with knuckle bow, the finger rests screwed to the cup hilt on both sides. The grip spirally fluted, with the original brass wire winding and Turk's heads. Flat pommel with spiral flutes and offset riveted finial. Length 131 cm.Condition: II Questions about the lot?
