Description

Zweischneidige, stark geschwungene Klinge aus schön gezeichnetem Wootz-Damast und ausgeprägtem Mittelgrat. Charakteristischer Griff aus Wallrosselfenbein, sehr aufwendig beschnitzt: auf fein gearbeitetem Rankengrund ist terzseitig ein Adeliger mit hohem Kragen und Spazierstock dargestellt, quartseitig wird der Rankengrund von fünf nackten Figuren bevölkert. Beidseitig altpersische Schriftzüge. Schauseitig verzierte Scheide mit silbernem Ortblech. Länge 37 cm. Die Arbeit wird "Omar dem Zeltmacher" zugeschrieben.
