Pfeifen, daran die Herrscherchiffre „VE”,
Feldschnalle, hellgrünem, seidenglänzendem
Futter. Dazu eine hellblaue Schärpe. Außer-
dem ein nordafrikanischer Umhang aus
schwarzem, rot eingefasstemWolltuch. Partiell
leicht beschädigt, Altersspuren. Seltene Uni-
form.
A desert uniform for staff officers in the
general staff, 1930s
Peaked cap of khaki coloured cotton, gold bul-
lion braid stripes, on the obverse an applied
grenade symbol with golden Cross of Savoy on
red ground. Leather chinstrap on gold buttons
with grenade symbol, brown lacquered visor
(green underside), apricot coloured silk lining
with maker’s label “S. Cardia Roma” (with re-
mains of the celluloid cover), leather sweat
band. With a field tunic of khaki coloured
cotton with four pockets, golden buttons with
grenade symbol, gold rank stripes at the cuffs,
white cavalry collar patches, looped shoulder
boards with grenade symbol on black ground
with white trim, gold aiguillette with two gilt
tips, on it the sovereign’s cipher “VE”, ribbon
bar, light green, shiny lining. With a light-blue
sash. Also a North African cape of black wool
with red trim. Partially slightly damaged, signs
of age. A rare uniform.
