imperial and royal court and chambers,

Silver, the knife blades of steel, the handles and
shafts decorated with raised tendrils and
volutes, and engraved with entwined mono-
gram “MV” underneath the archducal crown.
All pieces with master’s mark “JCK”, Viennese
hallmark with head of Diana for 800 silver and
(apart from the knife handles) the double-
headed eagle for court purveyors, the knife
blades with struck inscription “J.C.Klinkosch
Wien”.
Comprising four of each: carving knives
(length 27 cm), serving forks (length 21 cm) and
serving spoons (length 22.5 cm), three soup
spoons (length 18.5 cm) and two coffee spoons
(length 15 cm). Overall weight approx. 1,590 g.

Silber, die Messerklingen aus Stahl, die Griffe
und Stiele mit erhabenem Ranken- und
Volutendekor verziert sowie mit dem gravier-
ten, verschlungenen Monogramm „MV”
unter Erzherzogskrone. Alle Teile mit der
Meistermarke „JCK”, der Wiener Dianakopf-
punze für 800er Silber sowie (mit Ausnahme
der Messergriffe) mit dem Doppeladler der
Hoflieferanten, die Messerklingen mit ge-
schlagener Bezeichnung „J.C.Klinkosch
Wien”.
Bestehend aus je vier Vorlegemessern (L.
27 cm), -gabeln (L. 21 cm) und -löffeln (L. 22,5
cm), drei Suppenlöffeln (L. 18,5 cm) sowie

schrauben montiert auf einemPodest inmitten
der silbernen Bodenschale, dort vs. erneut
graviertes und bekröntes Monogramm „MV”.
Im Boden die Meistermarke „J.C.Klinkosch”
(leicht verschlagen), erneute Dianakopf-
Punze sowie der Doppeladler der Hofliefe
ranten. Höhe ca. 22 cm, Länge ca. 28 cm und
Breite ca. 19 cm. Gewicht 1.285 g.
Die silberne Schöpfkelle mit querovaler Laffe,
identischen Punzen („JCK”, Dianakopf und
Doppeladler) sowie graviertem und bekrön-
temMonogramm „MV” an der Unterseite des
Stiels. Länge 20 cm, Gewicht 111 g. Hervor
ragend erhaltene Sauciere aus der Aussteuer
der Lieblingstochter von Kaiserin Elisabeth,
die im Alter von 18 Jahren bereits Erzherzog
Franz Salvator von Österreich-Toskana ken-
nenlernte, sich 1888 mit ihm verlobte und ihn
aufgrund des Selbstmordes ihres Bruders,
Erzherzog Rudolf, im Jahr 1889 erst ein Jahr
danach heiraten konnte.

Silver, crafted in two pieces and decorated with
raised, partly embossed acanthus, rocaille and
foliage ornaments. The sauce boat with high-
domed handle and four openwork feet, under-
neath the spout delicately engraved, entwined
monogram “MV” underneath the archducal
crown, beside the handle master‘s mark
“JCK”, Viennese hallmark with head of Diana
for 800 silver, and double-headed eagle for
court purveyors. The four feet mounted on a
pedestal in the centre of the silver tray with
hand-made silver wing screws, the tray like-
wise with engraved and crowned monogram
“MV” on the obverse. On the bottom master’s
mark “J.C.Klinkosch” (slightly misstruck),
repeated hallmark with head of Diana and
double-headed eagle for court purveyors.
Height approx. 22 cm, length approx. 28 cm
and width approx. 19 cm. Weight 1,285 g.

double-headed eagle), engraved and crowned
monogram “MV” on the bottom of the shaft.
