A distinguished Chinese multiple seal in bronze, 18th century
The bronze seal in the shape of a foo dog, playing with five puppies. The
central foo dog holding a ball in its front paws, surrounded by four froli-
cking pups, with the fifth climbing on its back. A large seal in Ta Chuan
script on the base plate. The five puppies all removable, with additional
small seals cut into each base. The seal surfaces still retaining remnants
of red lacquer. Dimensions 9 x 7 x 7 cm.
