pistole, Dagestan, um 1850
Runder und glatter Damastlauf im Kaliber 14 mm mit Mittelschiene.
Über Mündung und Kammer leichter Eisenschnitt mit Goldeinlagen.
Blütenförmig goldtauschiertes Miqueletschloss. Der vollflächig mit
vergoldetem und nielliertem Silber überzogene Holzschaft mit floral
goldtauschiertem Schwanzschraubenblatt, Abzug und Schrauben aus
Eisen. Lauf und Vergoldung der Beschläge etwas verschmutzt, durch
Reinigung gut zu verbessern. Länge 49 cm.
A Daghestanian gold-inlaid and silver-nielloed, gilt miquelet pistol,
circa 1850
Round, smooth bore Damascus barrel in 14 mm calibre, with a midrib.
Delicate chiselling with gold inlays above the muzzle and at the breech.
The miquelet lock with gold inlays carved in the shape of petals. The
wooden stock completely covered with gilt and nielloed silver with gold
floral inlays on the tang, the trigger and screws made of iron. The barrel
and gilding of the fittings somewhat grimy, but can easily be improved
by cleaning. Length 49 cm.
