Saphir- und Diamantanhänger,
um 1900
Geschweifte Girlande in barocker Form,
Silber auf Gelbgold 14 Karat, zahlreiche Di-
amanten in Altschliff und Diamantrosen, zu-
sammen 2,5 Karat, in der Mitte ein beweglich
gelagerter, hervorragender, farbschöner, na-
türlicher Saphir-Cabochon von ca. 7,5 Karat,
vermutlich Sri Lanka, nicht erhitzt, spätere
Platinkette. Gesamtgewicht 17,4 g. Höhe der
Girlande 50 mm, Breite 37 mm.
Dazu Wertgutachten des bekannten Berliner
Juweliers Kühnöhl aus dem Jahre 1980, in dem
dieses Schmuckstück auf DM 51.868 geschätzt
wird.
A sapphire and diamond pendant, circa 1900
Entwining, baroque-style garlands, silver on
14 carat yellow gold, numerous old-cut and
rose-cut diamonds, together 2.5 carat, an out-
standing, beautifully coloured, natural sapphi-
re cabochon of approx. 7.5 carat in a movable
setting in the middle, presumably from Sri
Lanka, not heated, on a later platinum chain.
Overall weight 17.4 g. Height of the garlands
50 mm, width 37 mm.
Includes a valuation issued by the prestigious
Berlin jeweller Kühnöhl in 1980, which esti-
mates the pendant at 51,868 Deutsche Marks.

Mehrteilig gearbeiteter Trinkpokal aus gelb-
lich-bräunlichem Rhinozeroshorn. Passig ge-
schweifter Fuß mit gekehltem Balusterschaft.
Kuppa mit ausgestellter Lippe. Vereinzelte
altersbedingte Spannungsrisse. Höhe 19 cm,
Gewicht 220 g. Seltenes barockes Kunstkam-
merobjekt.

A German artistically turned goblet of rhino-
ceros horn, circa 1700
The goblet worked in several pieces in yel-
lowish-brownish rhinoceros horn. The foil-
curved base with a fluted baluster shaft. The
bowl with a flared rim. Occasional tension
cracks due to age. Height 19 cm, weight 220 g.
A rare baroque Kunstkammer object.
