| 51 Katalog: Orden und Militaria bis 1918 Catalogue: Orders and Military Collectibles until 1918 Los 3015 Orden vom Heiligen Stanislaus – Ordenssatz 1. Klasse, Russland, um 1910 Im Jahre 1831 wurde der ursprünglich polnische Orden vom Heiligen Stanislaus von Zar Nikolaus I. in die russische Or- denstafel aufgenommen und in drei Klassen verliehen. 1855 wurde der Orden um eine Militärversion mit Schwertern er- weitert. 1860 kamen zu den Kreuzen und Sternen der 1. und 2. Klasse Brillanten hinzu. Der Orden wurden 1918 von den Bolschewisten abgeschafft. Zunächst nur vonWilhelm Keibel gefertigt, kamen später auch andere Hersteller wie Eduard in St. Petersburg hinzu, von dem auch unser Ordensset stammt. Das goldene Ordenskreuz und der silberne Bruststern haben nur geringe Tragespuren und weisen alle üblichen Punzen auf. Das Set ist vollständig mit dem originalen Band aus gewässertem Seidenrips und befindet sich im originalen goldbedruckten und lederbezogenen Verlei- hungsetui. Lot 3015 Order of St. Stanislaus – a Russian set of orders 1st class, circa 1910 In 1831, Russian Tsar Nicholas I incorporated this originally Polish order into the honours system of the Russian Empire and later awarded this decoration in three classes. In 1855, a military version with swords was added, while in 1860 the first and second class could also be awarded with diamonds. Once the Bolsheviks had come to power, the order was abolished in 1918. While initially Wilhelm Keibel was the exclusive maker of this order, other jewellers were subsequently granted the privilege as well, such as Eduard in St. Petersburg, who is also the maker of our set. The enamelled gold grand cross and the part-gilt silver breast star show only moderate signs of wear. Both orders feature all the required marks and hallmarks. This beautiful set is com- plete with original band of watered, ribbed silk and delivered in its original, gold-embossed and leather-covered presentation case.
