A fine Ottoman silver-mounted tufek with gold-damascened barrel, circa 1800 The octagonal barrel slightly constricted in the middle with seven-groove rifled bore in 15 mm calibre. The top inlaid in gold with lavish f loral ornaments down its entire length. Miquelet lock with fine, gold-damascened embellishment . The full stock in beautifully grained flamed maple (a small replacement on the forearm) with a dark horn nose. Engraved, openworked furniture.
