Auf niedrigem, quadratischem Podest die Figur der frontal stehenden Muttergottes in einem leichten Kontrapost, bekleidet mit einem auf der Vorderseite fein gefältelten Mantel mit Schleier. In der Linken hält sie das Jesuskind (im Kleinkindalter), das in der Linken eine Schriftrolle hält und die Rechte zum Segensgestus erhebt. Mit der Rechten zeigt die Muttergottes auf das Jesuskind als Weg der Erlösung. Grün eingefärbt durch die Bildung des Minerals Vivianit aufgrund der einstmaligen Lagerung imBoden. Spannungsrisse auf Vorder- und Rückseite, sowie im Sockel, die aber den Gesamteindruck der qualitativ hochwertigen Beinschnitzerei nicht beeinträchtigen. Höhe 9,3 cm. Provenienz: Süddeutsche Privatsammlung, übernommen aus der Sammlung des Großvaters.
