10 Pektoral, altassyrisch (oder urartäisch), 8. - 7. Jhdt. v. Chr. Pektoral aus Bronzeblech. Der breite untere Teil spitz nach unten ausgezogen und mit drei vierfach getreppten Kreisbuckeln verziert. Zur Befestigung auf einer Unterlage in der unteren Spitze ein Loch und darüber am oberen Rand des inneren Ausschnitts zwei Löcher. Die Seiten bandförmig weit nach oben gezogen, mit lanzettförmigen Enden. Blau-grüne Patina mit minimalen Inkrustationen. Abgesehen von minimalen Ausbrüchen am Rand und einzelnen restaurierten Knickstellen intakt und ohne Fehlstellen. Länge 36 cm. Vergleichbare Pektorale stammen auch aus Grabfunden der gleichzeitigen Kobankultur im Kaukasus. Seltenes Exemplar altassyrischer (oder urartäischer) Schutzbewaffnung in ausgezeichneter Erhaltung. The wide lower part is pointed downwards and decorated with three four-stepped circular bosses. For attachment to a pad, a hole in the lower tip and two holes above it at the upper edge of the inner cutout. The sides drawn up in a band-like manner with lancet-shaped ends. Blue-green patina with minimal incrustations. Apart from minimal chipping at the rim and single restored creases intact and without missing parts. Length 36 cm. Comparable pectorals come also from grave finds of the contemporaneous Koban culture in the Caucasus. Rare item of Old-Assyrian (or Urartian) armour in excellent condition.
