| 177 162 Großer Pinseltopf, wohl Rosenholz (Huanghuali), 19. - 20. Jhdt. Zylindrischer Holztopf mit 1,5 cm dicker Wan- dung. Die feine Maserung durch Politur zur Geltung gebracht, die Färbung zur Mündung und zum Boden hin von Rotbraun in Dunkel- braun übergehend. In der Mitte des Bodens ein herausnehmbarer, zylindrischer Einsatz mit überkragendem Rand. Höhe 18,8 cm. Durch- messer 18,8 cm. Übliche Gebrauchsspuren, sonst sehr guter Gesamtzustand. Provenienz: Süddeutsche Privatsammlung. A large brush pot, probably rosewood (Huanghuali), 19th - 20th century Cylindrical wooden pot with 1.5 cm thick wall. The fine grain accentuated by polishing, the coloration towards the mouth and the bottom changing from reddish brown to dark brown. In the center of the base a removable cylin­ drical insert with overhanging rim. Height 17.7 cm. Diameter 19 cm. Usual signs of use, otherwise in very good overall condition.
