Jhdt. Dreiteiliges Reliquiarkreuz. Kreuz aus zwei hohl gearbeiteten Hälften, oben und unten durch Scharnier verbunden. Im oberen Scharnier ein beweglicher Anhänger doppelkonischer Form eingehängt. Auf der Vor- derseite der Gekreuzigte, flankiert von Schriftzügen in Griechisch. An den Enden der Kreuzarme Medaillons mit Brustbildern: oben der Erz- engel Michael, linksMaria und rechts der heilige Johannes. Unten vierte Büste. Auf der Rückseite die Maria Orans mit erhobenen, vor der Brust gehaltenen Händen, flankiert von Schriftzügen in Griechisch. An den Enden der Kreuzarme Medaillons mit Brustbildern der vier Apostel. Dunkelgrüne Patina. Länge 10,3 cm. Provenienz: Österreichische Privatsammlung, erworben in den 1990er Jahren im Kunsthandel. At the ends of the cross arms medallions with breast pictures: Above the archangel Michael, on the left Mary and on the right Saint John. Below a fourth bust. Bronzenes Reliquienkreuz mit graviertenMotiven. Auf der Vordersei- te ein Heiliger/eine Heilige, auf der Rückseite grob stilisiert der Ge- kreuzigte mit der verderbten Formel IC X / K NXA (anstatt IC XC NIKA = Jesus Christus siegt). Am oberen Scharnier noch die Öse. Schöne dunkelgrüne Patina. Intakt. Länge 8,9 cm. Provenienz: Aus einer in Süddeutschland aufbewahrten Privatsamm- lung.
