A large Roman applike with personification of Fides Militum, 3rd century Figurative fitting with depiction of the personi­ fication of the deity Fides Militum. The motif is important in the 3rd century and expresses the bond between emperor and soldier. Solid cast copper alloy with minor damage. The low- er part is missing. In ty- pischer, vor allem von Münzbildern bekannter Pose hält eine weibliche, ein Diadem tragende Gestalt links und rechts jeweils eine Standarte. Das Motiv ist im 3. Jhdt. von Bedeutung und bringt das Bindungsverhältnis zwischen Kaiser und Soldaten zumAusdruck. Massiv gegossene Kupferlegierung mit kleinen Beschädigungen. Das Unterteil fehlt.
