Hohe Kupferglocke mit schön erhaltener Vergoldung (am Hinterhaupt gepunzt „60“, „AD Douel...“ und Helm), das Emblem mit reliefiertem gallischen Hahn sowie „29 Juillet 1830“ sowie Lorbeer- und Eichenlaubkranz auf der „Masque de cimier“. Am Kammansatz als Relief „GARDE MUNICIPALE DE PARIS“. Schwarzer Rosshaarschweif, Turban aus Leopardenfell, geprägte Schuppenketten (ein Ende abgerissen, lose eingesteckt) auf mit Samt überzogenem Leder (Samt stark berieben, Risse), seitlich zwei geprägte Sternrosetten, vorn am Kamm ein schwarzer Rosshaarstoß (Marmouzet), seitlicher blau-roter Federstutz ergänzt. Geschwärztes Lederlaschenfutter (Fehlstellen, goldene Bordüre für Offiziere noch erkennbar), der Vorder- und Nackenschirm mit Leder ausgekleidet (Risse, Klebespuren). Kamm und Glocke mit Rissen und kleinen Fehlstellen. Teilweise beschädigt, Trage- und Altersspuren. Die Garde Municipale de Paris wurde nach den blutigen sogenannten „Trois Glorieuses“-Massenunruhen im Juli 1830 gegründet. Sehr seltener, äußerst repräsentativer Dragonerhelm. High copper skull with beautifully preserved gilding (stamped „60“, „AD Douel...“ and helmet at the back), the emblem with Gallic rooster in relief and „29 Juillet 1830“ plus a laurel and an oak wreath on the „masque de cimier“. „GARDE MUNICIPALE DE PARIS“ in relief at the root of the comb. Black horsehair plume, leopard skin turban, embossed chinscales (one end torn off and inserted loosely) on velvet-covered leather underlay (the velvet heavily rubbed and torn). Two embossed star rosettes on the side, a black horsehair brush (marmouset) at the front by the comb, the lateral blue and red feather plume replaced. Blackened liner with leather flaps (defects, the gold border for officers still recognisable). The front and rear visors lined in leather (cracked, adhesive residue). The comb and skull cracked, minor imperfections. Damaged in places, signs of wear and age. The Garde Municipale de Paris was founded after the bloody „Trois Glorieuses“ mass riots of July 1830.
