| 481 6347 Prunkvoller Säbel eines hohen Offiziers der leichten dänischen Kavallerie, um 1810 Kräftige, schlanke und elegant geschwungene Rückenklinge (stellenweise narbig, schartig), am Ansatz eine halb verdeckte Schmiedemarke (Eichhörnchen?), beidseitig reiche Zierätzungen (berieben), dabei das bekrönte dänische Wappen und die bekrönte Herrscherchiffre „FR“ für König Friedrich VI. (1808 - 1839). Reich reliefiertes, vergoldetes Buntmetall-Bügelgefäß mit plastischen Löwenköpfen an der Parierstange und außen am Griffbügel, Hilze mit aufwendiger Kupferdrahtwicklung (etwas locker, kleine unauffällige Reparatur). Terzseitig mit Blüte und Trophäen reliefierte Messingscheide (Vergoldungsspuren, Dellen) mit geschuppten Ringbändern, zwei beweglichen Trageringen und eisernem Schleppblech. Partiell leicht beschädigt, Gebrauchs- und Altersspuren. Länge 104 cm. Sehr gut ausbalancierter prunkvoller Offizierssäbel nach französischem Vorbild in guter Erhaltung. A magnificent sabre belonging to a high-ranking officer in the Danish light cavalry, circa 1810 Sturdy yet slender and elegantly curved single-edged blade (pitted and notched in places). A half-concealed smith‘s mark (squirrel?) at the root, ornaments lavishly etched (worn) on both sides, including the crowned Danish coat of arms and the crowned sovereign‘s cipher „FR“ for Frederick VI (1808 - 1839). Knuckle-bow hilt in gilt, non-ferrous metal with lavish relief decoration and fully sculptured lion‘s heads on the quillons and on the outside of the knuckle guard. The hilt with ostentatious copper wire winding (somewhat loose, one small, inconspicuous repair). The brass scabbard decorated with blossoms and trophies in relief on the obverse (remnants of gilding, indentations) with scaled ring bands, two movable suspension rings and iron drag. Slightly damaged here and there, signs of age and use. Length 104 cm. Finely balanced, magnificent officer‘s sabre based on the French model. In good condition. 345906 II € 1.500 6347
