| 89 circa 18 cm long silver chain is attached (the pendilium). Attached to it leaf-shaped gilt silver sheets, two single leaves and two groups of three leaves connected to a centre of filigree wire. One silver leaf missing at the bottom group of one pendilium, the other fibula lacking the entire bottom group. One single silver leaf with remains of the filigree wire centre preserved. Apart from these minimal damages in excellent condition. Length of birds 4.1 cm, height 3.5 cm. Extremely charming and rare jewellery dating from the High Middle Ages. Zylindrisches Gefäß mit waagerecht abstehender Randlippe und drei nach außen gestellten Füßen. Auf der Unterseite Zentrierloch, auf der Wand Drehrillen. Auf der Oberseite drei Ösen, in diese mit Haken an kurzen Ketten eingehängt eine dreischenklige Hängevorrichtung, oben in Öse zusammengefasst. Darüber Kreuz, gefolgt von Haken. Dunkelgrüne Patina. Intakt. Höhe im aufgehängten Zustand 41 cm. Mündungsdurchmesser 8,5 cm. Provenienz: Frankfurter Privatsammlung. Erworben im April 2016 bei Hermann Historica (Auktion 72, Los 4624). Zuvor süddeutsche Privatsammlung, erworben in den 1990er Jahren. 321196 II € 450 59 Öllampe, frühbyzantinisch, 5. - 7. Jhdt. Zylindrischer Korpus, auf Drehbank abgedreht. Zentrierloch auf Unterseite, Drehrillen auf Boden und Wandung. Oberseite nach innen abgesetzt mit Randleisten um Außenkante, Dochtloch und Ölloch. Letzteres durch Deckel mit Scharnier und Dorn zum Anheben verschlossen. Am Rand drei Ösen für dreischenklige Aufhängevorrichtung aus Draht. Oben zusammengefasst durch Ring, darüber Haken. Dunkle Patina, unter welcher der teils metallische Untergrund durchschimmert. Länge im aufgehängten Zustand 17,3 cm. Breite 6,4 cm. Provenienz: Frankfurter Privatsammlung.
