Innerhalb einer ca. 5 mm breiten Randzone mit Vergoldungsspuren, die unten von einer rundum verlaufenden Ritzlinie abgeschlossen ist, der Großkönig zu Pferd bei der Hirschjagd. Das Pferd mit reich geschmücktem Zaumzeug und Satteldecke, der Großkönig nach hinten gewandt, einen Bogen mit angelegtem Pfeil spannend und auf eine Hirschkuh links im Feld zielend. Unter dem Pferd ein bereits erlegter Hirsch. Einzelne Partien wie der Köcher, der Bogen, die Krone, der Gürtel und das Riemenwerk am Oberkörper mit Vergoldungsspuren. Kleinere Risse und Durchbrüche im Umfeld des Kopfes des Großkönigs, Delle am unteren Rand. Partiell Inkrustationen und Oxydauflagen, vor allem auf der Unterseite. Ansonsten attraktives Stück sasanidischer Hofkunst. Durchmesser 19 cm. Höhe 4,2 cm. Dazu ein hochwertiger Metallständer. Provenienz: Ostdeutsche Privatsammlung.
