A German medieval sword, 12th century Sturdy, double-edged blade, cut with long, narrow fullers on both sides. A small cor­ rosion hole at the lower end of the fuller. A straight arm cross in a circle inlaid in brass on one side. Extended, straight , quadrangular quillons, tapered tang with a flat pommel in the shape of a Brazil nut.
