| 371 A Viennese four-piece silver tea set and sugar tongs, Mayerhofer & Klinkosch, 1851/1852 and 1856 Silver, the interior of some pieces gilt. Comprising a hot water pot with réchaud, a tea pot, a sugar bowl and milk jug, unassociated sugar tongs. All with four rocaille feet. Bone handles. The hot water pot with a fully sculptured floral knob. All pieces stamped with the assayer’s mark “1851” and “1852”, plus the company mark “M&K”, the sugar tongs stamped “1856” and an illegible master’s mark. The hot water pot, cream jug and sugar bowl dented. Height 11.5 – 39 cm, total weight 3,373 g. The imperial-royal court awarded the silver manufactoryMayerhofer & Klinkosch the title of “k. u. k.
