A famille verte brushpot, probably late 19th - early 20th century Cylindrical vessel depicting an official (Mandarin) seated at a table with written documents, to whom lower-ranking officials pay their respects. Usual minimal abrasion to glaze and colours, otherwise intact. Height 12.7 cm. Diameter 10.2 cm.
