P rovenance : Southern German private collection. 295737 I - € 500 112 Zwillingsfisch-Teller aus Longquan-Seladon, Song-Dynastie (960 - 1127) Teller mit Standring und abgesetztem, leicht vertieftem Spiegel, darin im Relief zwei Fische. Die Fahne gewölbt und nach oben gezogen, mit deutlich abgesetztem, schräg nach außen abgebogenem Rand. Auf der Außenseite der Fahne, zwischen Standring und Rand, Fries aus Lotus- blättern im flachen Relief, jedes zweite Blatt an den Rändern von den angrenzenden Blättern überdeckt. Der ganze Teller mit der typischen graugrünen Glasur überzogen, mit Ausnahme der Unterseite des Standrings. Feine Haarrisse in der Glasur, vor allem auf der Innenseite. Geringfügige Abnutzungsspuren, sonst intakt. Höhe 5,5 cm. Durch- messer 21,5 cm. Provenienz: Süddeutsche Privatsammlung. A “twin fish” dish made of Longquan Seladon, Song Dynasty (960 - 1127) Plate with a stand ring and a slightly recessed well with two fish in relief. The lip is curved and pulled upwards, with a clearly set-off rim that turns outwards at an angle. On the outside of the lip, between the stand ring and the rim, a frieze of lotus leaves in shallow relief, every second leaf covered at the edges by the adjacent leaves. The entire dish covered with the typical grey-green glaze with the exception of the underside of the stand ring. Fine hairline cracks in the glaze, especially on the inside.
