| 199 A uniform for a cavalry captain in the Thuringian Uhlan Regiment No. 6, circa 1910 - 1914 Leather body of a chapka (brittle, rubbed, no fittings and lining, the inside reinforced with new sheet metal) with camouflage cover in light reed green, stamped on the inside “D.R.P.”. Ulanka M 1910 of field grey wool cloth with red pipings, stand-up collar, Polish cuffs and field-grey lacquered iron buttons, sewn shoulder boards with red backing for a cavalry captain with applied metal regimental cipher “CR IX” for King Christian IX of Den- mark, regimental commander from 25.8.1888, smooth field grey silk lining with internal chest pocket (no label). Domed Iron Cross 1 attached to the left, medal band in the button hole, attached ID tag inscribed “Ober- Leutnant v. Ibell / Ulanen Regt. 6”. Brown leather belt with brass buckle, brown leather pistol bag, attached brown leather map bag. Riding breeches of grey fabric, the inner thighs reinforced with grey leather. Riding boots of smooth brown leather with attached spurs. Partially slightly damaged, signs of age. Rare uniform in overall good condition. The tradition of the regiment dates back to the cavalry of the Lützow Jäger in the German Campaign. Dazu, über grauem Wollpullover, die Fliegerkombination aus rauem weißen Leder (berieben, etwas fleckig) mit Kragen und Futter aus weißem Lammfell, zwei Reihen Eisenknöpfe mit reliefiertem bayerischen Löwen, zwei Seitentaschen an den Ober­ schenkeln, Ärmel- und Beinenden mit Schnallriemen (einer fehlt). Braunes Leder- koppel, ein Paar Pilotenhandschuhe aus brau- nem Leder. Schnürstiefel aus braunem Leder. Die Puppe gehört zum Los. Teilweise leicht beschädigt, Altersspuren.
